Description: 

The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the works:

The work comprises of the reconstruction of Main St South, Railway Street East, Wonham Street, Victoria Street East, Elgin Street East, Church Street, Emma Street and County Road 2. The work includes but is not limited to the following:

  •  16417.0 sq.m of road asphalt removal
  • 1915 sq.m of concrete sidewalk removal
  • 3863 tonnes of HL8 base asphalt
  • 7398 tonnes of Granular A
  • 17263 tonnes of Granular B
  • 2587m of new storm sewer varying from 100mm to 1350mm dia. with storm structures
  • 1431m of 1.5m wide concrete sidewalk
  • 218m of 2.0m wide concrete sidewalk
  • 3,260m of concrete curb

This contract has no sanitary sewers and limited watermain work.

Preference will be given to local contractors who have worked within the County of Oxford.

 

A TENDER DEPOSIT, made payable to the Township of Blandford-Blenheim not less than the amount stipulated in the Tender and Bonding Requirements must accompany each tender.
